Toba Fatunla Hails Ekiti Muslims, Reaffirms Oyebanji’s Commitment to Their Welfare

The Special Assistant to the Governor of Ekiti State on Service Delivery, office of Transformation and Service (Delivery OTSD), Toba Fatunla has felicitated with the Muslim community in the state as they begin the Ramadan fasting period, calling on them to seize the opportunity for deep spiritual reflection and steadfast prayers for the progress of Ekiti State.

Fatunla, a former Speaker of the Ekiti Youth Parliament, described Ramadan as a sacred period of sacrifice, self-discipline, and devotion. He emphasized that it is a time for fostering unity, promoting kindness, and strengthening one’s faith in God.

He assured the Muslim faithful of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s unwavering commitment to their welfare, highlighting the administration’s ongoing efforts to ensure inclusive governance. According to him, the governor remains dedicated to policies that enhance the well-being of all residents, regardless of their religious affiliations.

The governor’s aide commended the contributions of the Muslim community to the peace and development of Ekiti State. He commended their continuous support for the government, urging them to sustain their cooperation to foster greater progress in the state.

Fatunla further encouraged religious leaders and scholars to use the Ramadan period to spread messages of peace, tolerance, and social cohesion. He stressed the importance of harmonious living among people of different faiths, stating that unity remains a key factor in achieving sustainable development.

The Ikole Ekiti Born innovator also urged well-meaning individuals to extend love and generosity to the needy, in line with the teachings of Islam. He noted that acts of kindness and charity, especially during Ramadan, contribute to building a more compassionate and supportive society.

While praying for divine blessings on all Muslims observing the fast, he expressed confidence that their supplications would bring peace, prosperity, and divine favor to Ekiti State. He encouraged them to remain hopeful and continue to uphold the values of discipline and selflessness.

Fatunla reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to service delivery and transformation, urging the Muslim community to remain steadfast in their prayers and support for Governor Oyebanji’s administration as it works to improve the lives of all residents.
