My One but a Million Akyas Korede, for about three years now you’ve been with me and became my world exactly this day two years ago. Since then, you have been the true scope of what I live for, the dream I assiduously strive to make a Legacy.
How do I account for the smiles, affections concerns and the outpour of love from your being? You filled alot of gaps, you became a bridge to crossover the oceans of deep thoughts and irregularities.
You became a teacher, of practicals and pragmatism, making mummy more responsible, dutiful, accountable, more focused and redirected my shenanigans towards self identification. My son, I am always amazed by your bravery, courage and stands even as small as you are. Nevertheless, tender are the beats of your heart.
Funny it may be, but I enjoy every single sound and moments with you. The smiles, and the cries are mirrors and calls to my self reality.I wish that you see beyond the ideas attached to masculinity in this demispheres and broaden your horizon on the reality of LIVING.
My son, please, stay humble, respect women, tell the truth, admit wrongs and apologize, moreso, learn to forgive. Do more and say less. Please atune your heart to these words as you grow as I keep never to let them cease from my mouth to your ears. Please, listen.
How I wish I could spare the whole of today for you! Know this, You mean much to Mum, I miss you every single moment I realize I didn’t hear any voice Calling “MUMMY”‘
I LOVE YOU SON. From your Mum Yetunde Olabisi.
