An Aramoko Ekiti born Philantropist and founder of Dele Philips Foundation, a non governmental organisation known for Youth empowerment and aids for women and aged, Mr. Dele Phillips has declared to Contest the post of membership at the Nigeria’s National Assembly.
Dele Philips eyeing the Ekiti Central Federal Constituency two seat in the House of Representatives submitted his letter of intention at his ward 02 Aramoko ekiti on Friday.
Dele Philips is bidding to represent Ekiti West, Ijero and Efon local government areas
at the National Assembly on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He explained that his decision for the race was to be in the position to do more for his people, having a political power to influence things in their favour more than th contribution of his DPF NGO, moreso, for socio-economic development of the people.
The house of representatives hopeful stressed that he has put in place the required strategies that would ensure adequate representation, people oriented programs and intervention aids.
He therefore appealed to the people to support his aspiration born out of the genuine spirit to impart lives positively
The APC ward two Chairman in Aramoko-Ekiti, Mr. Niran Aluko received the letter and expressed gladness that the personality of Mr. Phillips is showing interest in democratic process in Nigeria.
Also, the Director Of Administration Of DPF Foundation, Hon Adebusuyi Ebenezer who is also Vice Chairman of Ekameta LCDA
added that the candidature of Mr. Dele Phillips would go a long way in adding value to the political development of the Constituency and Ekiti state at large.
