The Chairman and Members of the Board of the Ekiti State Waste Management Authority (EKSWAMA) have warmly congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, as he marks his 58th birthday, describing the occasion as a moment to celebrate a life of purposeful leadership and uncommon dedication to the development of the state.
In a statement jointly signed by members of the Board, the Authority said it was proud to identify with the governor at 58, noting that his leadership journey has been deeply intertwined with the history and growth of Ekiti State.
The Board recalled that Governor Oyebanji began contributing meaningfully to the state’s development at a young age, serving as Secretary of the Committee for the Creation of Ekiti State at just 29 years old, a role they described as evidence of his early patriotism, competence and commitment to public service.
The EKSWAMA Board praised the governor’s achievements under his six-point agenda, stressing that his administration has delivered people-oriented policies that have positively impacted critical sectors of the state’s economy.
According to the Board, the agenda has strengthened governance, improved infrastructure, enhanced social services and promoted sustainable development, thereby improving the quality of life of Ekiti residents.
They noted that Governor Oyebanji’s inclusive leadership style and emphasis on continuity have helped to sustain peace and stability across the state, creating an enabling environment for growth and investment.
The Board added that his attention to environmental governance and sanitation aligns with the mandate of EKSWAMA, making his support invaluable to the Authority’s efforts at ensuring a cleaner and healthier Ekiti State.
Describing the governor as a bridge builder and a servant-leader, the Board said his achievements have truly earned him the title “His Excellency” in both name and deed.
They expressed appreciation for his consistent support to state agencies and his willingness to listen and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
As he marks his 58th birthday, members of the EKSWAMA Board which Include their Chairman Prince Oladele Adeniyi, Hon. Ayodeji Ajayi, Otunba Olorunfemi Ayodeji, Mr Bayode Obasoyin, Mr Mustapha Adeniran, Mr Ominiyo Joseph, Mrs Mojisola Adewumi and Mr, Bodunde Olufemi, wished Governor Oyebanji long life, you sound health and renewed strength, praying that the coming years of his administration will witness even greater milestones and lasting legacies for the people of Ekiti State.
