Ekiti Ministry of Agric, Food Security engages Poultry Farmers on increased Productivity

In continuation of the direct engagements of the current  administration in Ekiti state, officials  of the state Ministries of Agriculture and Food Security, Investment, Trade and Industries and Offices of the Special advisers the two ministries mey the leadership of the Poultry Association of Nigeria (PAN) to discuss how to put the state on the limelight of agricultural productivity.

Speaking after the sectorial engagement with Poultry Association of Nigeria (PAN), Ekiti State, Chapter, the Special adviser Agric Mr Ebenezer Boluwade said that the state adopted the means to feel the pulse of the practitioners.

According to him, the state government is committed to enhancing the overall prosperity and welfare of all citizens and businesses in Ekiti State.

The Special adviser explained that critical stakeholders in various economic sectors and ecosystem are being engaged in order to proffer solutions to the challenges faced by farmers in the state.

He said that the current administration Governor Biodun Oyebanji would always give maximum support to grow the agricultural sector and increase farmers and rearers’ capacity.

He noted that the meeting with  PAN executives led by their current and past Chairmen discussed the effects of the COVID 19 pandemic and cash limitation constraints on their business.

Mr Boluwade Who said that his office is ways open for complaints, inquiry, advise and ideas, said the that the he would continually engage the concerned  with a promise to evaluate their propositions and circle back to the association with possible offerings.
