The Aare Bobaselu of Erinmope Ekiti, Sir Adebayo Akomolafe while handling over the 18-seater bus to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Abayomi Fasina explained that the reason for donating the Bus was born out of his quest to give back to the Society.
“I will like to appreciate my parent for giving good training while I was growing up, this has made me useful to myself and my people, he remarked.
“I have been trying to see that people around me are always happy and that is why I give out of what God has given me. God used me to provide a multi million Naira Sick Bay at Ekiti State Government College, Oye and was equipped with necessary drugs, i also provided solar street light for my Community, Ire Ekiti that had been in darkness for some times now. All these and other gesture made the Obaleo of Erinmope Ekiti Oba Sunday Aikuirawo Aniyi honoured me and my wife, the Aare Bobaselu and Yeye Aare Bobaselu of the town, he said.
Dr Akomolafe who had earlier been honored with an award of Excellence during the Institute end of the year’s Party also promised to donate Five million Naira for the procurement of Laptops for the Institute of ICT of the University.
He promised to continue to contribute meaningfully to the development of the state

The Vice Chancellor of the Institution, Prof Abayomi Fasina while receiving the bus, thanked Dr Akomolafe for the gesture.
Prof Fasina said that the Institute of Information Communications Technology ICT would be taken to Ire Ekiti adding that the support given by Dr Akomolafe to the Institution has prompted the University Authorities to move the ICT some Programmes to Ire Ekiti
Also the Director of the Institute, Dr Adeleke who commended the Aare Bobaselu said that the bus was one of the milestones the present leadership of the Institute has recorded.
He noted that the bus was coming at a time it was most needed by the Directorate of the Institute, saying that it would assist in the day-to-day running of the activities of the Institute.
The duo lauded the various contributions from Ire Ekiti Community towards the Development of the University.

He has also accuired various Certificate in Nigeria, South Africa, United Arab Emirates UAE as well as Honorary Doctorate Degree Ph.D in Public Administration by the Cornerstone University and Theological Seminary, Jerusalem, Isreal.

An accomplished man whose philanthropic gestures have seen him single handedly erect Fourteen (14) Electric Poles in his hometown, Ire Ekiti.
All alone he constructed and Presented a Multi Million Naira Modern Sick Bay to his Alma Mater, Unity Secondary School Oye Ekiti, now Ekiti State Government College.
