Abducted Sex Worker killed, buried by Kidnappers as Ekiti NSCDC Parades Suspects

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Ekiti State Command has paraded two persons in connection with an alleged abduction of a commercial sex worker in Ado Ekiti.

Parading the Suspects at the Command’s headquarters along Ado/Ikere Road Ekiti State, the state Commandant, Agboola Sunday Adisa explained that the command received a complaint alleging the abduction of one Comfort James (26years) now deceased on the 13th of February,2024.

The victim was last seen on the 6th of February at her residence at Isato Street, Ado Ekiti . She was picked up at a close by brothel by one Saviour Daniel (25 years) and never returned.

The Commandant explained further that Saviour Daniel and his accomplice, one David Isaiah, upon being contacted by the victim’s friend demanded a ransom of 1million naira as condition for her release. Being unable to to raise the sum, they were forced to file a complaint with the Command.

The State Command swung into immediate action and against all odds, were able to apprehend the suspects.Upon enquiry into the case, the suspects admitted that they had kidnapped the victim in the false guise of engaging her services as a commercial sex worker.

Commandant Agboola also explained further that the suspects took turns to rape her repeatedly, killed her afterwards and dumped her remains in a nearby farmland and they also made away with the deceased cell phone and continued to demand ransom from the victims friends and family.

Investigation is still ongoing as said by the Commandant and further facts will disclose as they are unravelled.

Commandant Agboola therefore implore the general public to be calm and go out about their lawful duties while trusting in the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and all other security outfits in the state in this fight to ensure security of lives and property.
