The EXCO of Ado Grammar School Ado Ekiti (AGS) 2004/2005 Set has expressed delight over the appointment of Comrade Sunday Asefon as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Students Engagement.
In a statement made available to the press in Ado Ekiti, The President of the AGS Alumni Mr Olabode Wilson Rawa described the appointment of the renown youth advocate as well deserved and a testament to the readiness of Tinubu’s government to fixing the challenges of the nation.
According to him, Asefon has the track record of unwavering commitment to championing the rights of Nigerian youth and students with solid wealth of experience, intensive and extensive knowledge in the matters pertaining to students and youths of the nation with a long history of leadership and advocacy.
Olabode commended Asefon’s philanthropic gestures towards the development of his alma mata during His tenure as the NAN’s President as well as providing the leverage for members of the alumni, particularly the 2004/2005 set to develop.
He thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for identifying and recognizing the potentials in Comrade Sunday Asefon to mediate as a stakeholder in the education sector of the country.
He charged the News SSA to make the best use of his new office at scaling up up and enhancing the welfare and issues affecting students’ demography of the nation and surpass his previous achievements.
