ANGRY MOB SETS GAY’S HOUSE ABLAZE IN EKITI, PROPERTIES RAZED TO ASHES

Angry youths in Olorunsogo area of Ado Ekiti has set ablazed the residence of one Adedokun Adedayo, a man identified to have been engaging bisexuality and mobbed by the youths in the area which claimed the life of his gay partner.

Adedokun a father of three who was receiving treatment at God’s Own Medical Clinic, Nova Rd, Basiri Ado-Ekiti, after the death of his partner, suffered another set back as youths in the street were not satisfied with the initial attack that terminated the life of Ojo Femi, the youths in the street once again, razed Adedokun residence in his absence and destroyed his belongings.

According to eye witness accounts, the residents of the area were angered with what they considered as bizarre and an unacceptable practice in the society, noting that, the suspect had escaped from the hospital bed there by evading justice and the only reason to deal with him and his bad act is to burn down his house so that he will not be living in the street.

One of the onlookers who spoke on the condition of anonymity said, “almost everybody living around liked the man, he was hardworking and generous but we never knew he was such a rogue, right now were are afraid he would have introduced this dastard act among our children, this is an act that this morally, culturally and religiously strange, forbidden and offensive to human existence burning his house will chase him away from this street since we heard that he has escaped from his hospital bed and evaded arrest to face the wrath of law.

Another resident also explained that the establishment of facts that the man is a bisexual constitutes security threat to the community and something must be done very urgently to halt the spread of the abysmal act in the society as they prayed the government and the NSCDC to search for him and serve adequate justice on him to serve deterrent to others

Properties worth millions of Naira were razed down to ashes by the inferno as his wife and children; a family of five had escaped the mob attack and currently nowhere to be found.
