APC Chieftain Sunday Ola Commends Ekiti People, Says Oyebanji’s Election is Victory for Democracy

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC and aspirant for the seat of the Ekiti Central Federal Constituency One, in the  last primary election, Hon. Sunday Ola has commended the people of the state for voting enmasse for Biodun Oyebanji during the Saturday’s governorship election.

According to Hon. Ola the decision of Ekiti people which produced the Governor-Elect was thoughtful and wise, saying  Oyebanji would deliver on his promises and consolidate on the gains of Governor Kayode Fayemi.

In a statement in Ado Ekiti, Hon. Ola who canvassed votes for Oyebanji prior to the election acknowledged the giant strides of the incumbent Governor Dr. Kayode Fayemi, his wife Erelu Bisi and leaders of the party which resorted in the landslide victory.

He prayed God to grant  Oyebanji the wisdom, knowledge and Understanding to achieve his lofty programmes for the growth and development of the state.

The house of Representatives hopeful equally appreciated people of his constituency particularly those of unit 5, ward 6 Ado Ekiti where APC won with wide margin as stated below

He said  Oyebanji  has a clear picture of the dream of the founding fathers because he was part of the committee for the creation of the state, hence it would not be difficult for him to realize the vision.

He promised to support the Governor-Elect and mobilize his people to cooperate with his government towards ensuring the realization of his foresight for the state.
