The newly elected Chairman of Ikole Local Government, Mr. Bayo Omojola, has assured all the communities in the Council area of a promising new chapter, pledging to implement the six-point agenda of the Oyebanji-led administration in the state during his tenure.
Delivering his acceptance speech after the announcement of his victory in the LG Poll, Omojola attributed the success not merely to his personal triumph but as a collective achievement for the entire populace of Ikole Ekiti and its environs.
Expressing heartfelt gratitude to the electorate for their overwhelming support, Omojola credited God for enabling the victory.
He extended appreciation to Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and his wife, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, for their unwavering commitment throughout the campaign as well as the Deputy Governor, Chief Monisade Afuye, for her steadfast support.
Acknowledging the trust of local leaders and the unwavering commitment of voters who turned out en masse, Omojola thanked friends and well-wishers whose support contributed significantly to the victory.
Omojola highlighted the collective nature of the triumph, emphasizing that the shared dreams of parents aspiring for a better future for their children, youth seeking quality education, hardworking citizens pursuing economic opportunities, and esteemed elders will will be fulfilled.
Assuring a responsible administration, Omojola Also pledged to fulfill the promises outlined in their campaign manifesto, prioritizing infrastructure, healthcare accessibility, and quality education.
Additionally, the Chairman-elect underscored the administration’s focus on economic growth, transparent governance, and community empowerment as primary objectives.
He assured the community of transparent leadership, pledging to share both successes and challenges while prioritizing the welfare of constituents in decision-making.
Portraying the victory as not just for a political party but as a triumph for Ikole LG, Omojola called for unity, urging the community to embrace diversity as a strength. He expressed confidence that with continued support, Ikole LG would exemplify progress, inclusivity, and prosperity.
