BOUESTI REGRADES 25 LECTURERS AS ASSOCIATE PROFESSORS… _commences 2021/2022 promotion exercise for staff_

Authorities of the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti have approved the appropriate placement of no fewer than twenty-five (25) lecturers as Associate Professors as part of the regrading exercise embarked upon by the institution following its upgrading from a College of Education to a University.

This was disclosed by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olufemi Adeoluwa after the meeting of the Appointments and Promotions Committee of the University held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.

The regrading, which took effect from October 1, 2021, was carried out in line with standard best practices and based on the evaluation of their publications by External Assesssors amidst other parameters. Those regraded as Associate Professors are:

1. Dr. E.T. Adu – Educational Foundations & Management
2. Dr. E.M. Alake – Science Education
3. Dr. J.O. Familugba – Arts Education
4. Dr. V.I. Makinde – Counselling Psychology
5. Dr. A.A. Ogunjemilua – Social Science Education
6. Dr. M.O. Olowe – Business Education
7. Dr. O.I. Ojo – Chemical Science
8. Dr. O.A. Aturamu – Agricultural Technology
9. Dr. O.S. Ajayi – Language Education
10. Dr. M.E. Nyong – Language Education
11. Dr. O.S. Akinwumi – Arts Education
12. Dr. T.T. Alade – Human Kinetics & Health Education
13. Dr. O.O. Boris – Science Education
14. Dr. A.B. Ibidapo – Industrial Technology Education
15. Dr. O.J. Olojo – Science Education
16. Dr. E.O. Osuntuyi – Industrial Technology Education
17. Dr. A.O. Aladelokun – Geography & Environmental Management
18. Dr. F.O. Ibimilua – Geography & Environmental Management
19. Dr. A.O. Awodun – Science Education
20. Dr. S.R. Olojuolawe – Industrial Technology Education
21. Dr. J.O. Ajogbeje – Counselling Psychology
22. Dr. U.E. Ekiugbo – Social Science Education
23. Dr. J.O. Ekiran – Economics
24. Dr. O.S. Akinrujomu – Design & Fine Arts
25. Dr. J.B. Ajayi – Design & Fine Arts

Similarly, the Appointments and Promotions Committee approved the appropriate placement of members of staff on the University Grading Structure in line with the transitional provisions of the University Law as well as issuance of letters to correct their Letter of Regrading issued earlier. The Committee also directed the immediate commencement of the 2021/2022 promotion exercise for deserving members of staff.
