 The Book Club at The Peace House in Ado Ekiti is in high spirits as the members continue to celebrate one of their own, Professor Babatunde Olofinbiyi, on his recent promotion as a Professor of Medicine at the Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti.

This significant achievement has been met with widespread joy and commendation among the club members been that Olofinbiyi had remained a model for self determination and go-getter, what he had strongly demonstrated throughout the trajectory of his life and career.

The convener of The Peace House Book Club, Mrs. Olapeju Babafemi, who expressed the collective delight of the members, described Professor Olofinbiyi’s elevation as a well-deserved recognition of his extensive contributions to the field of medicine as well as humanitarian services and various researches for community development.

“Professor Olofinbiyi’s promotion is a testament to his dedication and hard work,” Mrs. Babafemi stated. “As a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, and a scholar, he has made immeasurable contributions to research, women and adolescent development, youth mentoring, and social work.
