PYDEF… empowerment towards greatness.
The Founder of the Positive Youth Dreamers Empowerment Foundation (PYDEF) Dr Ayodeji Ayodele Dada has given Ogbon Idemo, Orin Ekiti a new look especially at night with yet another philanthropic intervention.
According to him, there was the need to light up the street considering the rising insecurity in sub-urban localities, pointing out that criminal elements will be discouraged from implementing their evil intentions knowing that they will be spotted even at night.
While thanking all the dignitaries and community stakeholders who graced the Occasion , Dr. Dada, said business can only thrive if the environment is enabling and expressed optimism that with the provision for light, business activities would pick up in the area especially during festive seasons.
He promised further gestures of Community Social Responsibility for the community and urged other well meaning indigenes to support government at all levels towards engendering development in the country.
”We had a vision to support the government infrastructure agenda by ensuring we in our own little way provide basic facilities we can afford to communities around us, ” Dr. Dada said.
” Government is a big organ. It has so much to give to the people without resources to execute her plan. hence the need for more people to come on board in this charity work across the state in the interest of our people” he said.
” I have awarded scholarships to students in my community, give financial assistance to those who want to do business and now I am providing solar powered street lights to lighten up my street which I would extend to other streets in the town” he stated.
He noted further that the foundation will continue to provide financial assistance, human capital development, education, and general empowerment to the less privileged in the state.
Dr Dada who had made know his intentions to assist the less privileged in the community has been a philanthropist and a community development addict.
The cutting of the tape to mark the inauguration of the Solar light project, a memorable event in the anal of history of the community was done by a former Minister of Education Prof Tunde Adeniran.
Prof Adeniran called on other wealthy indigenes of the town to support the Positive Youth Dreamers Empowerment Foundation’s various interventions to assist the peoples in the Area
An indigene of the town Mr Dimeji Owolade who was also at the event said that prior to the donation of the array of illuminating street solar light that stretched through the length of Ogbon Idemo , the donor had given scholarship to students, empower widows, Farmers and Market women among others.
”I can go on and on and I can say it with pride that the initiator of Positive Youth Dreamers Empowerment Foundation, Dr Dada has improved the lives of people in this Community and beyond. My prayer is that God will continue to bless him, ” Mr Owolade added.
Also some of the residents thanked Dr Dada for his thoughtful and supportive gesture in the area of Community Social Responsibility for the people of Orin Ekiti.
They added that with the solar light, criminal activities will be reduced at night and Security of lives and properties would be better ensured.
Prior to the sitting of the solar lightening project, the street at night was always overwhelmed by palpable darkness , and worried by threat the situation might caused, Dr Ayodeji Ayodele Dada provided an array of solar street light that stretched through the length of Ogbon Idemo, Orin Ekiti in Ido Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
