EASTER: AKOMOLAFE REMINDS CONSTITUENTS TO PRAY FOR PEACEFUL CONDUCTS OF EKITI ELECTION

An Aspirant for the Ekiti South Federal Constituency 1 seat under the Peoples Democratic Party, Engr Henrich Akomolafe has felicitated with Christians on the occasion of this year’s Easter with a call on them to remain steadfast and put conscious efforts towards the development of Nigeria.

In his Easter message released through his campaign office in Ikere Ekiti, Engr Akomolafe acknowledged the uniqueness of this year’s Easter particularly in Ekiti state where the celebration is preceeding the 2022 Governorship election.

According to him “this year’s celebration evokes a sense of unity and uniqueness as Easter marks the end of the 40 day lent for Christians, coinciding with the Ramadan fast for Muslims. It is a reminder that the difference between us is such a thin line, hence, we must continue to see ourselves as brothers and sisters.

Let us not also forget that Election is few weeks around the corner, we must pray and preach peace for the development of our dear state”.

The House of Representatives, aspirant called on the people of Ikere Ise, Orun and Ekiti South West to get everything set to change the narratives in the state political sphere. He berated the rate of insecurity and poverty in the country saying that many would have been happy to also have meals on the table this festive period.

He urged Nigerians not to lose hope in the country saying that prayers, good work and conscious efforts will make the country  triumph over its various challenge while assuring the people of his contituency that he will always see to their welfare more than he had been doing if given the opportunity to serve at the hallow chambers of the National Assembly.

Engr Akomolafe particularly urged Ekiti people and Nigerians to ensure that they continue to reflect the virtues of Jesus Christ which includes love, perseverance, boldness, goodwill and faith which would guarantee peace and progress in our dear country.
