A member of the EKiti state House of Assembly Hon Femi Fatunla has called on Muslims to use the Ramadan to pray for the peaceful coexistence of Nigeria.
In a statement Hon Fatunla also urged Muslim to rededicate their faith and closeness to the Almighty Allah and use the period in constantly reading the Holy Qur’an with understanding and follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad.
The lawmaker also advises Muslim Ummah to be good to their neighbours and assist the poor and the needy with food items during the fasting period.
Hon Fatunla who represents ikole Constituency one also encourage the giving of alms and always pray for an improved peace and tranquility, improved security for national growth, progress and development.
He however urged fellow Muslims to use the Ramadan period to offer special prayers for Allah’s help in reducing the hardship being experienced.
