Rt. Hon. Aribasoye underlined the birth of Christ as good news to the world which at the time of His birth lacked a substantive saviour, noting that the annual celebration of His birth will always represent a positive interjection of the many disturbing news pervading the global space.

‘The birth of Christ brought good tidings of great joy. Similarly, when we are celebrating His birth, christian faithful must use the event as a key to open with prayers, the doors of good news for individuals, the state and the country in general.’ Aribasoye advised.

‘We must not allow the lessons of Christmas to be lost in excessive celebration. With the birth of Christ, it behoves us to embrace the core message of salvation and pattern our lives after Christ who came as a reformer. Therefore, I beseech us Ekiti people to see ourselves as solution providers in the state and not promoters of crisis.

Aribasoye echoed the determination of the 7th Assembly under his leadership to effectively and continually collaborate with the executive arm headed by Governor Biodun Oyebanji to ensure optimal delivery of the dividends of democracy to Ekiti people.

He solicited more prayers for Governor Oyebanji and the House of Assembly in their quest to promote the welfare of Ekiti populace, make the right laws and meet the yearnings of the people.
