Ekiti Independent Project Monitoring Office (IPMO) Facilitates Productive Engagement, Welcomes Newly appointed Senior Special Assistants

In a decisive move aimed at bolstering the efficacy of the Independent Project Monitoring Office (IPMO), the Special Adviser to the Governor on IPMO, Hon Femi Ajayi on Wednesday spearheaded a session with IPMO’s  workforce.

The gathering, which witnessed the presence of the trio, of the newly appointed Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) to the Governor on IPMO across the three Senatorial Districts, alongside the Administrative Secretary, Mr. Segun Adebayo as well IPMO personnel, engaged in comprehensive discussions.

The unveiling and subsequent introduction of the three SSAs,  Hon. Oluwafemi Olarewaju (North), Hon. Kehinde Boluwade (South), and Hon. Lanre Fasuan (Central), is believed that it will contribute to IPMO’s operational dynamics.

The deliberations centered on a critical  appraisal of the strides achieved thus far and strategizing further to realize the overarching vision of Governor Biodun Oyebanji in line with the shared prosperity agenda

The insightful contributions and recommendations made by the SSAs which were aimed at enhancing the office’s modus operandi were duly noted for actions.

Key resolutions emerged from the session, fostering synergy between political appointees and civil servants to forge a formidable alliance in the pursuit of effective and efficient monitoring of capital projects across the State and Local Government/LCDA levels.

According to  Femi Ajayi,  the state-of-the-art technological monitoring apparatus recently procured by the office demonstrates a commitment to leveraging innovation for heightened effectiveness.

Crucially, it was agreed upon that regular meetings would be convened as part of a robust review mechanism, ensuring continual assessment and refinement of monitoring strategies to align with evolving needs and challenges.
