The lawmaker representing Ikole constituency one at the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon Femi Fatunla has reassured the people of the Constituency that more dividends of democracy would be brought to them.
Hon. Fatunla gave the assurance during an interactive session with Muslim faithful, Drivers unions, Okada/Tricycle riders, non-indigenes and visitation to all wards in the constituency.
He promised that all the Constituents, irrespective of party, religion and tribe would feel his impact as their representative, saying he would facilitate more development to the area.
The Legislator pointed out that the purpose of the interactive session was to engage with the people and for them to make their requests known for prompt action.
Hon Fatunla explained that the purpose of the visit was to appreciate the people for their support during election which produced him as an House of Assembly Member, while commending Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji for his various developmental projects.
He expressed confidence that the new Federal Medical Centre newly approved for Ikole-Ekiti would bring more development to the area.
In her remark, the Chairman, Ikole West LCDA, Mrs. Mosunmola Adeyemo commended Hon Fatunla for being a good representative and for bringing dividends of democracy to his constituency.
Similarly the chairman of ikole local government Mr Bayo Omojola said such idea would go a long way at giving the beneficiaries more sense of belonging with a view to have confidence in Hon Fatunla.
Some of those who spoke including, APC Chairman in Ikole Council, Elder Ebenezer Omotoso called on members of the party to always work for its progress.
During the engagement with the various groups, Mr. Femi Fatunla gave cash gift to the people as way of giving back to them.
