Ekiti NSCDC Passes Out 115 New Recruit, Gov. Fayemi, Commandant Fayemi Charge them on Diligence, Loyalty.

The Ekiti State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has passed out the 115 newly recruited personnel whose training was  inaugurated on March 2022 at the National Headquarters and subsequent dispatchment to the command.

A statement by the Command’s Spokesman DSC Tolu Afọlábí explained that after a Four Month intensive training, the command was glad to welcome the new corps members into the work of safeguarding the nation from crisis and providing security within the country.

The Passing out parade which was held at the Command’s former Headquarters along Afao Road, Fayose Estate Ado Ekiti was reviewed by His Excellency Dr John Kayode Fayemi who thanked the Commandant General of the Corps Ahmed Abubakar Audi for the giant strides and achievement since his assumption of office two years ago.

The EKiti State Governor urged the new recruit to make the State proud by standing out among other states in service delivery, loyalty, diligence especially at their various duty post.

The Governor who was represented by Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Mr Adedayo Ajobiewe commented on the adroity and precision of the parade which he adjudged to be perfect and entertaining with a call to the Federal government to provide more  logistics to the Corps for effective tackling of vandalism , criminality and other social vices. He promised that the state would always support the command.

Earlier in his welcome address, the state commandant Mr John Olatunde Fayemi had  commended the National leadership of the corps for the vision and mission which have been yielding good tidings in the area of renumeration , recruitment, promotion and service delivery.

The EKiti NSCDC boss lauded the cooperation of the state government, reminding her of the various promises made towards aiding the services of the command to the people of Ekiti State.

He congratulated the new recruits and urged them to be good ambassadors of the state by serving the country diligently anywhere they find themselves on the job.

The occasion was graced by Nigeria Police, Nigeria Immigration service, Nigeria Correctional service, Federal Road Safety Corps, Federal fire Services and other important dignitaries from academics and business communities.
