Ekiti Special Adviser on Tertiary Education Dr. Akeem Azeez Extends Love to Muslims for Ramadan

The Special Adviser to Governor Biodun Oyebanji on Tertiary Education, Dr. Akeem Azeez, has extended support and love to Muslim faithful in Ado-Ekiti by distributing cash gifts to about two hundred persons.

Speaking at the event held around Atikankan Area of the state capital where the even was held, Dr. Azeez explained the significance of charity during Ramadan, urging Muslim faithful to utilize the remaining days for self-improvement and spiritual growth.

The Adviser who highlighted that the cash gifts was to support the commitment of Governor Oyebanji’s administration in uplifting communities, fostering unity, and promoting the spirit of compassion and solidarity among residents of the state, emphasized the teachings of Prophet Muhammad in the Quran, encouraging individuals to embrace the spirit of giving and showing  kindness to others.

He noted that the gesture will not only be limited to Ramadan period but all the time the need arises.

The scholar politician who availed the opportunity to relate the arious programs of the Oyebanji led administration with the Muslim community and ward members explained that the current administration was taking all routes to create a society where individual and collective aspirations are fulfilled.

Dr. Azeez commended Governor Oyebanji’s administration for its commitment to the welfare of the people, stating that the cash distribution program aimed to emulate the governor’s altruistic actions as he remains a model for all political appointees and elected officers in the state.

He hailed Governor Oyebanji as a leader deeply devoted to the welfare of the people, whose exemplary character has positively influenced members of his cabinet.

The Chairman of Ado Ekiti Local Government, Mr. Michael Akinlayo, urged Muslims to maintain the discipline and devotion acquired during the holy month as he called for continued support for Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration to ensure its success.

He urged citizens to prioritize unity and peace in the state irrespective of their political or religious affiliations.

Expressing their gratitude, beneficiaries of the cash gifts including Mr. Sunny Olatunji, Mrs. Musa Serifat, and Mr. Ajise Rasaq, lauded the special adviser for his generosity.

They expressed confidence in his capacity noting that he has been displaying good morals and characters, sense of responsibility, humanitarian and community development service even before his appointment into political office as they prayed for more successes for him
