The Ekiti State government has reiterated its determination to continue partnering with interested and competent individuals and corporate organizations to enhance quality health care and service delivery for the and wellbeing of people in the state.
Playing host to the members of the Adolescent Friendly Research Initiative and Care (ADOLFRIC), the state Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr. Oyebanji Filani stressed the commitment of the Fayemi led administration to maintaining a good working relationship with health development partners in and outside the state.
In a statement made available to journalists by the Ministry’s Press officer, Mr Wale Obelewaji, Dr. Filani said that the state government had the created an enabling environment for development partners in order to sustain their operations without undue stress. He assured them that the Ministry would continue to demonstrate the Government’s good disposition to working with the partners.
The Health Commissioner emphasized that the state was bent on providing a quality health system where people live in a society that fulfils their aspirations in good state of mind and body wellness.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ekiti State Ministry of Health, Mr. Akinjide Akinleye explained that working with health development partners remained a priority of
Governor Fayemi’s administration.
Earlier had the Chief Executive Officer of the Programme, Dr. Babatunde Olofinbiyi affirmed that the primary focus of the organization was to see to the health and well-being of adolescent children, improve their sexual education and awareness, pregnancy as well as pregnancy prevention.
Dr. Olofinbiyi added that the state government was central to whatever
activities they engage because its inputs and importance couldn’t be underestimated and considering the efforts put in place by the state government.
