The Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters and Interparty Affairs, High Chief Jide Awe says the Judgement of the election tribunal that upheld the victory of Mr Biodun Oyebanji at the June 18 election affirmed the Democratic process in the choice of the Governor through the primaries and the guber poll.
The Former State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress explained that democracy allows people to take different positions even while pursuing thesame goal of development for the state.
He congratulated Governor Oyebanji, expressing hope and confidence that the current political dispensation would bring unprecedented development to the people and mutual trust and benefits would be more established.
He described the candidate of the Social Democratic Party Asiwaju Segun Oni as a reputable leader while calling on him to collaborate efforts with Governor Oyebanji in making life better for Ekiti people.
