• The Federal Teaching Hospital Ido Ekiti has announced vacancies and invite applications from medical and Non medical officers. 

A statement made available to the press by the Head of Administration Mr B.O Ogunrinde on behalf of the Chief Medical Director, Prof Kunle Ajayi welcomes suitably qualified and interested candidates for the following vacancies.

1.Consultant Anaesthetic
2. Registrars
3. Nursing Officers
4. Health Records Officers
5. Health Assistants
6. Porters

Post – Consultant Anaesthetic: CONMESS 07
Requirements:
Candidates must possess:
i. MBBS degree or its equivalent from a recognized university.
ii. FMCA or FWACS.
Iii. Evidence of full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
iv. NYSC discharge certificate or evidence of exemption.
V. A pass in the part II Fellowship Examination in either National or West African Postgraduate Medical
College in Anaesthesia.
vi. Current Practicing Licence.

Post – Junior Resident: CONMESS 03
Requirements:
Candidates must possess:
i. MBBS degree or its equivalent from a recognized university.
ii. Evidence of full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
iii. NYSC discharge certi?cate or evidence of exemption.
iv. Current Practicing Licence.
v. A pass in the Primary Fellowship Examination in either National PGMCN or West
Africa Colleges of Surgeon/Physicians in the following Fields:
a. Anaesthesia
b. Chemical Pathology
c. Anatomic Pathology
d. Medical Microbiology
e. Haematology
f. Ophthalmology
g. Otorhinolaryngology
h. Internal Medicine
i. Paediatrics
j. Obstetrics and Gynaecology
k. Surgery (General)
l. Mental Health
m. Community Medicine

Post — Nursing Officers: CONHESS 07/08
Requirements:
Candidates must possess:
i. BNSc qualification or RN plus additional professional registration in any post basic Nursing
programme.
ii. Current Practicing Licence.
iii. NYSC discharge certificate or evidence of exemption, where applicable.

Post — Health Information Records Officers: CONHESS 07
Requirements:
Candidates must possess:
I. BSc or HND in Health Records Management / Health Information Management
from any accredited Institution
ii. Current Practicing Licence
iii. NYSC discharge certificate or evidence of exemption

Post — Health Assistants: CONHESS 03
Requirements:
Candidates must possess certi?cate in Health Assistant Medical (HAM) from the two year training
programme in any College of Health Technology or any other approved Health Institution.

Post — Porters: CONHESS 03
Requirements: .
Candidates must possess any of the following quali?cations:
a. Senior Secondary School Certificate/West African School Certificate
b. General Certificate of Education (GCE) O/L
c. National Examination Council Certificate with four credits including English Language and
Mathematics, obtained at one sitting or five credits at two sittings.

Post — Assistant Director of Procurement
Requirements:
·* At least a Bachelor Degree or equivalent qualification in any of the following
Disciplines; Economics, Business Administration, Accountancy, Law, Insurance, Banking
and Finance, Marketing, Quantity Survey, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics,
Purchasing and Supplies or other related disciplines;
·* Professional membership of relevant professional body(ies) (where applicable);
·* Conversion Certi?cate to procurement Cadre issued by the Bureau of Public Procurement;
* Postgraduate degree is an added advantage.
* Position must not be less than Chief Procurement Officer as at the time of application.
* Minimum of fifteen (15) years cognate experience, Eight (8) of which should be in Public
procurement related work and at least Five (5) years at senior management level;
·* A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint packages and broad
knowledge of project Management.
·* Postgraduate degree is an added advantage.
·* NYSC discharge certificate or evidence of exemption.
