Governor Oyebanji Decorates CTU Team Lead Uzoka Friday Newly Promoted ASP

Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State led the decoration ceremony of Officer Uzoka Friday, the Team Lead of the Counter-Terrorism Unit (CTU) attached to his office, who was recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) by the Police Service Commission.

The event, which took place at the Governor’s Office, was a significant acknowledgment of Officer Friday’s commitment and dedication to maintaining peace and security across the nation.

ASP Uzoka Friday, who joined the Nigerian Police Force in 2000, has been at the forefront of numerous operations aimed at combating terrorism and ensuring public safety.

His promotion to ASP was a recognition of his loyalty, courage, and unwavering commitment to his duties, making him a standout figure in the security apparatus of Ekiti State.

The Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Adeniran Adewale, accompanied by a team of senior police officers, was also present at the ceremony to honor and support the newly promoted officer.
