IKOLE CONSTITUENCY TWO PASSES VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON GOVERNOR OYEBANJI, SPEAKER ARIBASOYE SAYS PERFORMANCE SATISFACTORY

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ikole Constituency Two have passed a vote of confidence on the Ekiti State Governor, Abayomi Oyebanji and the Speaker, Adeoye Aribasoye.

The constituents at an extended stakeholders engagement hosted by the Speaker in his country home , Odo Ayedun within the easter break hinged the action on the outstanding and satisfactory performance of the duo.

Notable party leaders in the axis including Chief Alaba Abejide, Otunba Oladele Adeniyi and Chief Biodun Akin-Fasae took turn to appraise and praise the performances of the Governor and the Speaker noting the the synergy and cordiality between the executive and legislative arms of government headed by both of them have produced positive and palpable results across the state.

They described Rt. Hon. Aribasoye as an epitome of revolution, reformation and transformation which shows a deviation from the status quo adding that the 7th assembly under his leadership has been peaceful, fruitful and patriotic.

The stakeholders also justified the vote of confidence passed on Governor Biodun Oyebanji saying he has been a laudable superintendent over the various developments being witnessed in the constituency and the state at large.

Earlier in his address delivered at the forum, Aribasoye said the 7th Assembly under his leadership has resolved to regularly engage and assess their constituencies to have deeper understanding of priority issues and make development universal across the state.

According to him, the largest Cassava Processing plant in Africa, undertaken by Agbeyewa farms ltd, is underway within the constituency raising hope of job creation, food security and economic growth.

The speaker added that the local content bill which is in progress at the Ekiti State House of Assembly would ensure substantial engagement and patronage of artisans, raw material providers and different categories of labour at the grassroots.

Aribasoye acknowledged the immeasurable support the 7th assembly enjoys from Governor Oyebanji noting that the Governor accords utmost respect to the principle of separation of power.

The stakeholders engagement drew attendees from all the wards in the constituency including ward chairmen, Councillors, executive members, party elders and political office holders.

A member of the House of Assembly Service Commission, Hon. Bidemi Ipinlaye, SA Special Agriculture Zone in Ekiti State, Pastor Kehinde Ajayi and Technical Advisor Policy Evaluation, Hon. Josiah Olukosi were also in attendance while the spokesperson of the House of Representatives, who also hails from the constituency, Hon. Akin Rotimi graced the event.
