Kwara South PDP Organizes 2nd Edition Special Prayer for State, 2023 Party Candidates

The Kwara South Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP Senatorial District Executive led by it’s  Chairman, Comrade Bisi Fakayode today, 1st of September, held its 2nd interfaith special prayer for PDP candidates from Kwara South ahead of the forthcoming general elections at Ajase-ipo, Irepodun Local Government Areas of Kwara State.

The Committee on Interfaith under the leadership of Comrade Fakayode led Exco coordinated the prayer sessions.

The interfaith Committee is co chaired by Rev. COS Fawenu and Alh Olurotimi Idris, Imams and clergy men who conducted the prayer. in attendance are: PDP Kwara State Deputy Governorship candidate, Hon. Gbenga Makanjuola, PDP candidate for Kwara South Senatorial District, Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim, Engr. Dare Bankole and Hon. Hassan Oyeleke who are the PDP candidates representing the two federal constituency from Kwara South in the forthcoming general polls.

In attendance were the ten PDP candidates for Kwara State House of Assembly from Kwara South, the National PDP BoT member, Hon Felicia Ebun Owolabi, Chief Yisa Alabi PDP Zonal Officer, Alhaji Jimoh Balogun, Kwara South Senatorial Executives, 7 LG Party Chairmen, LG Women and Youth Leaders and LG Party Secretaries respectively.

Chief Fakayode commended the effort of the special prayer organizing committee saying that he was satisfied with the party candidates from Kwara South as the 2023 poll is approaching

Also at the program,  the PDP Deputy Governorship Candidate, Honorable Gbenga Peter Makanjuola

“We must focus more on grassroots mobilization, we need to exhibit our strengths in our various polling units and wards in the forthcoming general elections”. The former lawmaker, Makanjuola charged party faithfuls to continue to work on how to deliver individual’s polling units.

Similarly, Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim assured Kwarans that Better days shall be witnessed by the people of Kwara South senatorial district after the PDP emergence come 2023.

The Bobaselu of Erinle added that there would be  equitable distribution of government resources and amenities.

Hon Hassan Oyeleke who spoke onbehalf of colleague Engr Dare Bankoke charged party stalwarts to bring all hands on deck to use  network across all divides.

Chief Mrs Iyabo Adeyeye-Adisa who spoke onbehalf the ten house of assembly member implored party faithfuls to be more strategic while Felicia Ebun Owolabi, Member National PDP BoT encouraged Kwara South women in politics to keep waxing stronger in their efforts to bring Kwara PDP back to power in the forthcoming polls.
