There was pandemonium in Ado Ekiti on Thursday as Men of the Union of Okada riders clashed with the riders of Maxokada around Irona area of the state Capital.
The real cause of the riot could not be ascertained as at the time of this report but there are indications that it may not be unconnected with allegedly proposed increment in daily due payable to the Union.
Those involved in the right were seen breaking bottles and brandishing all sort of weapons including sharpened Cutlass running after their targets.
All attempt to reach out to the Chairman of the Okada Riders association in the state through phone call was futile as he Mobile line was switched off around 10:41 am.
