NEW SECTOR COMMANDER VISITS EKITI CJ, SEEKS JUDICIARY’S COLLABORATION

Ekiti State new Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, C.C. Elijah Joseph today paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Judge of Ekiti State, Justice John Adeyeye in his office.

Addressing the Chief Judge, Mr. Elijah said, this type of visit is customary and a necessity, whenever there is change in leadership of the command, to familiarize with stakeholders and the new environment, He said, he was posted to Ekiti to replace the former Sector Commander, Mrs. Elizabeth Akinlade who has just been promoted.

Mr. Elijah seeks judiciary’s more collaboration in any area of challenge, such as Mobile Courts, timely prosecution of erring motorists among others, he promised to carry out his duties professionally and according to dictates of the law throughout his stay and tenure in Ekiti State.

In his response, Justice Adeyeye welcomed the Sector Commander and his entourage to his office, he said, this same visit was paid to him by his predecessor adding that Ekiti State Judiciary has always been collaborating with the command, he said Mobile Courts was established and it is still in operation, to adjudicate on matters brought before it.

Justice Adeyeye promised the Judiciary’s assistance to the command anytime the need arises, he urged them to be more professional while carrying out their lawful and official duties, he concluded.

Those on the Sector Commanders’ entourage are DCC Operations, Mogaji Olajide, Legal Officer, Kehinde Ajidara Esq., Provost, Adeola Adebayo, Intelligence, Abubakar Labaika, Public Relations, T. Ojo and Route Commander in charge of Ado Ekiti Local Government, D.I. Balogun.

Other top management staffs with the Chief Judge during the visit are, the Chief Registrar, Adesoji Adegboye Esq., Deputy Chief Registrar 1, Olanike Adegoke Esq., Deputy Chief Registrar 2, Abdulhameen Lawal Esq., Magistrate Olatomiwa Daramola among others.
