In line with the Directive of the Ekiti State Governor Mr Biodun Oyebanji, that his Fifty Fifth Birthday celebration should be in a low key and that the birthday gifts from well wishers should be donated to the less privileged, the Secretary to the State Government Alhaja Habibat Adubiaro has visited the Ekiti state Government Special school for the Blind Ikere Ekiti.
The state scribe who brought different food items and beverages to the school was received with a special rendition by the students for the Governor’s birthday.
Dr Adubiaro In her remarks explained that the Governor had resolved to run an all inclusive governance and create and enabling environment for the prosperity of all.
She noted that the government had laid down strategies to better the lives of the people, and a high prmium on the people with disability.
The school Principal thanked the Governor for his continual support for the less privileged. She expressed the confidence that the current political dispensation in the state would witness more fortunes for the people with disability.
Some of the students Benjamin Ajagunla and Victoria Agbogun commended the Governor for the gesture and pray more fortunes for him and the state.
