Pioneer Ekiti Alumni Executive of Adeyemi Federal University Of Education assures members of Monumental development

The newly elected Executive Members of the Alumni Association of the Adeyemi Federal University of Education in Ondo, the Ekiti State Branch has formally appreciated all the members and the representatives of the National Leadership of the body sent to conduct the election and officially Inaugurates the State Branch of the Association in Ekiti State.

In a press release jointly signed by the newly elected State Chairman of the Alumni Association of Adeyemi Federal University of Education in Ekiti State, Dr. Seun Oyewale; the State Secretary, Mr. Ademola Adetolaju and the State Public Relations Officer, Mr. Emmanuel Adeniran, they are appreciating all the members of the Association who were present at the election and voted them in as there State Officers and also, those who had loved to be physically present, but, because of one engagement or the other, they could not. They were all appreciated by the new Executives Members.

Speaking further, the new Executives thanked the representatives of the National Leadership headed by Dr. Yemi Olugbamigbe, the Acting National Secretary and the representative of the Provost of the defunct College, Dr. Samuel Akintunde in person of Dr. Charles Adeniranye who took out their time to travel from Ondo Town in Ondo State to officially inaugurates and overseer the conduct of the election.

The Ekiti State Branch of the Alumni Association used the opportunity to commend the resilient and commitment of the representatives of the National body from the main Institution’s campus in Ondo Town for their labour of love for their Alma Mata.

The new leadership of the Alumni Association in Ekiti State therefore also used the opportunity to seek for the support of all the members from the State and also look forward for their moral, total and financial supports in the days, weeks and months ahead.

The statement also called on all the members of the Association in Ekiti State to show up their faces in issues concerning their Alma Mata by joining hands to look out for all the Old Students of the College who hails and living in Ekiti State to also enable them be partaking in the activities of the Association in the State.

The State Executives also added, and praised the present leadership and management of the College headed by Dr. Samuel Akintunde and all the Governing Council Members and the current Staffs and Students of the College for working very hard to achieve the upgrading of the Institution from a College status to a University status which has long overdue.

It enjoined all the workers in the College not to relent in their efforts in ensuring the dreams of the founding fathers of the Institution is achieved and attained.
