The People’s Democratic Party in (PDP) Efon Local Government has said that the people who were said to have dumped the party for the APC were not members the party.
A statement issued by the Spokesperson of the Party Mr Tetteh Ebenezer and signed by the chairman noted that the said group were not recognized by the party and had long been dissociated due to their character.
“What we need at the crucial time are people that can mobilise for the Party across the 16 Local Government and Not trouble makers. PDP in Efon is known for nobility and peace. Infact we don’t know them to be members of this party. So we wonder the use of the word Decamp. Such cheap political blackmail should not be encouraged at all. This is the home of the hopeful next Governor of EKiti and we are focused at achieving that.
The statement urged the people of the state to give utmost support to Otunba Bisi Kolawole whom they described as ready and equipped for the task of good governance in the state. 
” We are sure of Bisi Kolawole, this not the time for rabble rousers. It is a time for strategic planning and winning because we must win Ekiti State back to the track of development .
