A leading aspirant seeking the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for the House of Assembly seat, Asipa Ayodeji Adarabierin, has expressed strong confidence ahead of the party’s primary election scheduled for Wednesday, declaring that victory is certain by the grace of God and the overwhelming support of party faithful.
Asipa Adarabierin, while addressing members of a Frontline Political Group, Asipa Political Family at a meeting held in Ado Ekiti, said he remains optimistic that party members across the seven wards would make the right decision by choosing competence, loyalty, and experience during the primaries.
The Coordinator Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria in Ekiti State noted that his ambition is driven by a sincere desire to serve the people and bring purposeful representation to the constituency through people-oriented legislation, grassroots empowerment, and infrastructural development.
According to him, the forthcoming primary election should not be seen as a battle among party members but as a democratic exercise aimed at strengthening the APC ahead of the general elections.
He therefore called on all aspirants and their supporters to embrace peace, unity, and maturity before, during, and after the exercise.
“I am fully convinced that victory is ours because our people understand the vision we carry for the constituency. However, beyond personal ambition, the unity of our great party remains paramount,” Adarabierin stated.Adarabierin who said that despite being endorsed by the leadership of the party in the constituency, still opted for contest at the primaries, noted his landslide victory would justify his endorsement and validate his acceptance
He urged delegates to vote according to their conscience and in the best interest of the party, stressing that the APC can only remain strong when internal democracy, fairness, and mutual respect are upheld among members.
Adarabierin also commended the leadership of the APC at the state and local government levels for ensuring a level playing field for all aspirants contesting in the primaries.
He expressed confidence that the process would be transparent, credible, and acceptable to party members.
The House of Assembly hopeful assured party supporters that he possesses the capacity, exposure, and grassroots connection needed to effectively represent the constituency and attract meaningful development projects to the area if elected.
He called on his opponent to play the game according to the rule as stipulated by the electoral law and priorize peace after the party primaries.
Several party leaders and supporters including the Coordinator of Asipa Political Family, Alhaji Azeez Jamiu Gboyega who attended the AFP meeting expressed confidence in Adarabierin’s candidacy, describing him as a committed party man with a history of loyalty, dedication, and service to the APC at the grassroots level.
As political activities intensify ahead of the Wednesday APC primaries, stakeholders across the constituency continue to call for peaceful conduct among aspirants and supporters, emphasizing the need for unity and reconciliation after the exercise in order to position the party for victory in the main election.
