BOUESTI Unveils Senate Building, VC Adeoluwa says Facility align with 21st Century Mission as Oyebanji Lauds University Leadership

The Vice Chancellor of Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science, and Technology (BOUESTI), Ikere Ekiti Prof. Victor Adeoluwa, has commended the administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji for its continuos efforts in advancing the education sector in Ekiti State.

Speaking during the inauguration of the university’s new Senate building, donated by the University’s chancellor Chief Wole Olanipekun, Adeoluwa highlighted the collaborative efforts of the state government and stakeholders in transforming the institution into a model of academic excellence.

Prof. Adeoluwa described the newly inaugurated Senate building as a testament to BOUESTI’s dedication to creating a conducive environment for teaching, learning, and research.

According to him, the building, aligns with the institution’s 21st-century mission and symbolizes the synergy between government policies and private sector contributions.

The Vice Chancellor also lauded  Chief Olanipekun for his commitment to the university’s development, noting that the Chancellor’s generosity had significantly elevated BOUESTI’s infrastructure and academic capacity.

“The contributions of Chief Olanipekun, combined with the progressive policies of Governor Oyebanji, have given us renewed confidence in the future of education in Ekiti State,” Adeoluwa remarked.

Prof. Adeoluwa further lauded Governor Oyebanji’s administration for prioritizing education as a critical sector, emphasizing that the state government’s investments in policies and projects have been instrumental in creating an enabling environment for academic excellence.

He called on other philanthropists and stakeholders to emulate Chief Olanipekun’s gesture to sustain the momentum of development at the institution.

The Management of BOUESTI also expressed its gratitude to the state government for its consistent support and visionary leadership.

 

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, in his address, emphasized his administration’s resolve to enhance the education sector through impactful policies and infrastructural development.

Oyebanji commended BOUESTI’s leadership for its role in advancing academic standards and called on other institutions in the state to emulate its strides.

The donor and University Chancellor, Chief Wole Olanipekun, described the new Senate building as a fulfillment of his lifelong vision to contribute to the educational advancement of Ekiti State.

He hailed Governor Oyebanji for his dedication to uplifting the sector and assured continued support for the institution’s growth.

The Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, who also graced the event and reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to prioritizing Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medical Sciences (STEM).

According to him, these fields are pivotal to President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which aims to drive national development through innovation and excellence in education.
