The National Director General of the Tinubu Titans and former Federal Commissioner for Compensation, Dr. Mojisola Yahya-Kolade has congratulated Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, the senator representing Ekiti State’s Central Senatorial District, on his emergence as Senate Leader of the 10th Assembly.
The former Commissioner for Health and Human Services in Ekiti State described Senator Bamidele as a dependable, reliable leader to occupy the exalted position and thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and of the National Assembly for the honour done to the Southwest and Ekiti State in particular.
In a statement made available to the press, Yahya-Kolade expressed her confidence in Senator Bamidele and his ability to perform his duties with excellence and care.
“Senator Bamidele will bring integrity and candor to the work of the Senate and enhance the mission of the Tinubu administration,” Yahya-Kolade said, stressing his dedication to unifying the nation and collaboration across party lines, as well as his years of service to the nation as a three-time commissioner in Lagos State, member of the House of Representatives, and two-time member of the Upper Legislative House.
Praising the Senator’s extensive political pedigree, Yahya-Kolade hailed Senator Bamidele as a “great political mobiliser and believer in the Nigeria Project,” who would use his new position to work in the best interest of the nation as well as elevate Ekiti State in the federal government.
Yahya-Kolade, who spearheaded a group that mobilized millions of Nigerian women in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu through her work with the political interest group Tinubu Titans, also commended the President on his work in the early days of his administration, setting the tone for years of economic and political development to come. “This is a new dawn for Nigeria,” she stated, “and Senator Bamidele is more than capable to do the job.”
