The Ekiti State Governor Mr Biodun Oyebanji has continued his strategic meetings with relevant federal Ministries and parastatal as part of his administration’s effort to ensure federal presence in Ekiti and fast-track development for the people.
The Governor on Friday was at the Headquarters of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty reduction Abuja where he paid a working visit to the Minister Prof Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe.
Speaking with BSES reporter Yemi Olajutemu shortly after the close door meeting which was also attended by the Chairman Federal Housing Authority Hon Oyetunji Ojo, Governor Oyebanji explained that he would continue to scout for opportunities to improving the livelihood of the People in the state.
The Governor who explained that the was at the Ministry to see how the state can maximize the benefits of its various live-changing programs thanked President Bola Tinubu for appointing a cvapable hand to oversee the humanitarian affairs of the nation.
According to him, the discussions centered around Livelihood support, Conditional Cash Transfer for women, SMEs, PWDs and everybody in the state among other federal initiatives capable of benefitting the population of the state.
The Governor thanked the various elected and appointed officers at the federal level for their collaborative effort in developing the state.
Responding, the Honorable Minster Prof Nentawe Goshwe lauded the various programs of the state government noting that they had laid the foundation for easy partnership and collaboration.
He noted that the various agenda of the current administration in the state align perfectly with the programs of the Ministry, promising more visible support in 2025.
