Nissi Foundation, a non-governmental organization based in Ekiti State, has sent warm Christmas and New Year greetings to residents of the state and beyond.
The foundation, led by its founder, Dr. Oyeyemi Kayode-Ojo, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve widows and the less privileged, calling on everyone to embrace the season with renewed hope and trust in God.
Speaking on the importance of the festive period, Dr. Kayode-Ojo encouraged the less privileged to remain strong in their faith, describing God as a dependable source of strength and provision. She noted that while life’s challenges may seem daunting, drawing closer to God can provide the comfort and direction needed to navigate tough times.
She also spoke passionately about the need for parents and guardians to pay close attention to the welfare of their children emphasizing that children are the bedrock of any society and urged families to prioritize their education, health, and overall well-being. According to her, raising responsible children is key to building a better future for the nation.
“This season is not just a time for celebrations,” Dr. Kayode-Ojo said. “It is also an opportunity for us to reflect on how we are shaping the next generation. Taking care of our children’s needs and teaching them good values is one of the greatest responsibilities we have as parents and guardians.”
The foundation, known for its regular support programs for widows and the less privileged, reaffirmed its commitment to improving lives through financial assistance, skill acquisition programs, and other empowerment initiatives. Nissi Foundation has become a beacon of hope for many in Ekiti State. the founder assured the public that the foundation remains steadfast in its mission to bring relief to those in need.
