Hon. Sunday Ola Congratulates Olusola Fatoba, Calls for Unity After APC Reps Primary

An aspirant in the just concluded All Progressives Congress, APC, primary election for the House of Representatives seat in Ekiti Central Federal Constituency I, Hon. Sunday Ola, has congratulated Hon. Sola Fatoba on his emergence as the winner of the exercise.

Hon. Sunday Ola, who participated in the keenly contested primary alongside other aspirants, described the exercise as a significant democratic process and reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the unity and progress of the APC.

Speaking shortly after the announcement of the results, he said “I congratulate Hon. Sola Fatoba on emerging victorious in the primary election. The contest has come and gone, and as loyal members of the same political family, it is important that we close ranks and move forward together in the overall interest of our party and our constituency.

I also extend my respect and appreciation to other aspirants who participated in the race. Democracy thrives when people are willing to offer themselves for service, and I commend everyone for their courage and dedication.

To the numerous party faithfuls, supporters, friends and associates who believed in this project and stood firmly with me throughout this journey, I say a heartfelt thank you. Your encouragement, sacrifices, prayers and support will never be forgotten.

Though the outcome was not what we hoped for, I remain optimistic about the future and committed to the ideals of service, humility and progressive leadership. My belief in the APC remains strong, and I will continue to contribute meaningfully to the growth and success of our great party.

This is a time for unity, reconciliation and renewed commitment towards ensuring victory for our party in the forthcoming election. Together, we can achieve greater things for our people and for Ekiti State.” He said
