A Member of the EKiti state House of Assembly, Hon Femi Fatunla has called on security agencies to investigate, arrest and prosecute those culpable in the gruesome killings of two traditional rulers in the state during an ambush along oke- Ako ipao road.
The lawmaker in a statement also condemned the murder of the monarch describing such as, wicked,unacceptable, unfortunate, and grave coup against the state, their community and subjects.
Hon Fatunla was specific that the death of the monarchs the Onimojo of imojo ekiti Oba Olatunde Samuel Olusola and the Elesun of Esun Ekiti, Oba David Babatunde Ogunsakin by armed men must be investigated and ensure perpetrators face the full wrath of law.
The lawmaker describe the Elesun of Esun oba David ogunsola as a passionate, responsible and humble monarch who would be greatly missed for his fatherly advice and prayers.
The lawmaker Representing ikole Constituency one at the assembly called on the security agents to comb the forests as the recent killings and kidnapping of the school children in emure EKiti had affected the relative peace in the state.
He commiserate with the immediate families of the deceased monarchs, the Imojo and Esun Ekiti Community, Council of Traditional rulers in Ikole and Oye Local Government and by extension, the Ekiti traditional Council and the Governor of Ekiti State. God will grant us the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
