Are Ekiti Sons and Daughters Felifitate Prof. Kemi Akintan on Elevation to Professorial Rank

The entire natives of Are Ekiti under the aegis of Are Ekiti Progressive Union (APU) has congratulated one of their illustrious daughters, Prof. Kemi Akintan (née Oke), of Inisha Quarters, Are Ekiti, on her elevation to the prestigious rank of Professor.
The Union described the academic milestone as a remarkable accomplishment and a source of immense pride to Prof. Akintan’s family, the people of Inisha Quarters, the entire Are Ekiti community and the wider academic community.
In a congratulatory message signed by its Assistant Public Relations Officer, Prince Dayo Olofinniyi, the Union attributed Prof. Akintan’s elevation to her intellectual excellence, dedication, hard work and sustained contributions to academic scholarship.
The Union noted that her emergence as a Professor represents not only a personal triumph but also another significant addition to the growing list of academic achievements recorded by sons and daughters of Are Ekiti.
According to the Union, Prof. Akintan’s accomplishment demonstrates the value of perseverance, intellectual discipline and commitment to the advancement of knowledge, adding that her achievement would serve as an inspiration to younger members of the community pursuing academic and professional careers.
The APU further expressed confidence that her elevation would provide her with greater opportunities to deepen her contribution to scholarship, research and the development of society.
