ADO North LCDA Chairman, Yomi Oso Launches Social Security Scheme, says BAO will do more.

The Chairman Ado North Local Council Development Area Mr Yomi Oso has assured the people of EKiti State most especially residents of the area that the expected government of Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji will bear more good fruits for Ekiti people as he launched the Social Security Scheme for the aged as part of the activities to mark his 100 days in Office.

Mr Oso who highlighted his various achievements within few days including the renovation and equipping the temporary secretariat with needed facilities, acquisition and survey of 30 plots of land at Oke-ila area of Ado Ekiti to build a permanent site, as well as the official launching of monthly cash for the aged noted that efforts are underway with the signing of Memorandum of understanding with developers in order to turn the area to the commercial hub of Ado Metropolis.

He said that the first phase of the reconstruction of Mojere market in Ado will begin in the next 6 months while the facilitation of Okeila Mini market into a big commercial centre is in the pipeline.

The LCDA boss emphasized that other efforts to increase the internally generated revenue and lifting the youths for economic reliance in collaboration with other organizations are already being put in place. He solicited more supports for the Fayemi administration saying that only the continuity in the chain of development can salvage Ekiti from inconsistency and in projects and setbacks.

The state deputy Governor Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi lauded Yomi Oso for his loyalty to the party and his humanitarian services to the people. He marvelled at the various developments witnessed by at the LCDA within the 100 days of Oso as the pioneer Chairman while calling on the people to reciprocate the good gesture by supporting the APC candidate of Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.

Others at the occasion include the Chairman Ado West Local Government Mr Adeyemi Alagba, the Ado APC party Chairman Mr Mike Akinleye, the former member house of Representative Hon PA Abiodun Falayi, the traditional chiefs in the area led by the Alarinrin Chief Obayemi, the Vice Chairman Mrs Olabiwonninu, Mrs Abiola Olusele, among others who commended Oso, describing him as a true leader.

Some of the beneficiaries of the social security scheme thanked Governor Kayode Fayemi for creating the LCDA saying that it has brought the government more closer to the people at the grassroot.
