In a resolute commitment to grassroots development, Hon. Davies Adeyemo, the Executive Chairman of Ayekire Local Government Area in Ekiti State, has reassured the Seven towns, Villages, and settlements in the council that his administration will diligently address the distinctive needs of each demography.
During a recent THANK YOU TOUR, of the communities, Adeyemo affirmed his dedication to fulfilling all campaign promises, aligning them with the six-point agenda of the Oyebanji-led state government.
Traditional rulers in their palaces, including Oba S. Aderiye jp – Olode of Ode Ekiti, Oba FO Olatunde, Onimesi of imesi, Oba Ayodele Ige Jp, Owa Egbe of Egbe, Oba Adesina Obafemi —- Owa oroo of Agbado, Oba Felix Adeniyi Afolabi, Oniro of iro, Oba GSO Ajayi Modupe —-Owa Ateju of Iro Ateju and Oba, Emmanuel Akinyemi Adesoji, Onisin of Isinbode, received the Chairman, endorsing his commitment to responsive governance.
Hon. Adeyemo, who noted that his administration is premised on the principles of democracy, good governance, inclusivity, and citizen participation, pledged to carry all citizens and denizens along in the decision-making process.
He emphasized modeling his administration after the Oyebanji government, heralded for returning political power to the people.
Expressing gratitude for unwavering support, Adeyemo thanked the people and assured them of imminent developmental projects.
He acknowledged party faithfuls for their massive support during the election, urging them to sustain their backing across all levels.
Monarchs in the various towns commended Adeyemo’s transformative leadership during his tour.
Notably, Oba S. Aderiye and Oba F.O. Olatunde described the tour as a signal of preparedness and urged the Chairman to focus on agricultural rejuvenation for the enhancement of local revenue generation.
During the visits, Oba Adesina Obafemi of Agbado advised communities to steadfastly support government development initiatives. Oba Akinyemi Emmanuel and Oba GSO Ajayi expressed gratitude to Governor Oyebanji for restoring electricity, ending a fifteen-year darkness in their communities.
Beyond News Correspondent observed enthusiastic community members trooping out to render solidarity songs upon sighting the entourage of the Chairman comprising Hon.Adeyanju Joseph, the Vice Chairman, Hon. Akinyemi, leader of the house Hon. Esan Ogunjobi Secretary, Mrs Dele Daramola HLA and Directors of department.
The requests of the communities ranged from infrastructure extensions to the Egbe Dam, transformer repairs, town hall construction in Imesi, hospital fencing, road projects, shops, farm road grading, school fencing, police station construction, palace renovation, to stable electricity extension.
In response, Hon. Adeyemo assured the communities that necessary steps would be taken to address their needs, reinforcing his commitment to inclusive and impactful governance in Ayekire Local Government.
I believe the chairman is a man of his words, it a work in progress everything needed by the people will be put in place in due time. Hon Davies adeyemo is the man for the job we all need to support him to make the work easier and patriotic.
