VC, Adeoluwa bags Outstanding Leadership award
The glorious blaze of the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti in academic excellence and transformative service culture on the global educational landscape has earned the University another medal as the institution recently won the award of the 2023 Outstanding University of Education in Africa at the 1st Africa Education Summit held in Kigali, Rwanda.
BOUESI’s track record of academic excellence, consistency, strategic collaborations and exceptional scholarship earned her the laudable laurel among other Universities in Africa.
The Summit, which was organised by Global Skills Hub, United Kingdom, LION Outreach, United States of America and Africa Project Against Suicide (APAS) and held at the University of Rwanda, Kigali, was attended by renowned scholars, eminent personalities, educational Administrators and policy makers.
Reacting to the development, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Olufemi Adeoluwa described the recognition as an enviable and heartwarming feat made possible by God, the tremendous support of Ekiti State Government and the entire workforce of the University.
He assured that the University would do everything possible to sustain the institution’s soaring reputation globally.
In a related development at the Summit, the Vice-Chancellor of the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti, Prof. Olufemi Adeoluwa bagged the 2023 Africa Outstanding Leadership award in recognition of his exemplary leadership traits, pragmatic approach to Institutional administration and overall contributions to the development of education in Africa.
The 1st Africa Education Summit, which was held between 22nd and 24th March, 2023, had as its theme, Post COVID-19 and the Challenges of Africa Education; A Focus on Mental Health.
