The Federation of Ekiti State Students Union has joined the Muslim Community in the State in celebrating this year’s Eid-al-fitri, call for renewed commitment towards peaceful coexistence and unity among all religious groups in the State.
In a statement issues by the National President Mr Abel Adéwálé Ajibade, the Union calls on all students in the State to use this occasion to promote unity and understanding among people of different faiths.
“As we celebrate Eid-al-Fitri, it is important to reflect on the values of Ramadan, which include self-discipline, sacrifice, and charity. These values are essential for building a peaceful and prosperous society where everyone can thrive.”
“We urge our Muslim brothers and sisters to continue to uphold these values even as they mark the end of the holy month.”
“We must come together as one people, irrespective of our religious beliefs, to work towards achieving our common goals. Only through unity and mutual respect can we build a better future for everyone.”
