The newly appointed Registrar of the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti, Mrs. Funmilola Adenike Adeusi has assumed office.
The new Registrar who was recently appointed by the Governing Council of the University took over from the former Acting Registrar, Mrs. Biodun Momoh who has proceeded on a terminal leave preceding her retirement.
She was accorded a rousing welcome by a large member of members of staff at the Academic Building of the University on Thursday.
While addressing the Heads of Divisions/Units in the Registry, Mrs. Adeusi attributed her emergence to God’s grace and unwavering favour and equally sought their support and cooperation in the task ahead, promising to run an open door administration.
A 1991 graduate of English Education from the then Ondo State University, Ado-Ekiti (now EKSU), she bagged a Master’s degree in Educational Administration and Planning from the University of Calabar.
She is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators and Association of Higher Education Administrators.
She joined the services of the defunct College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti (now Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology) as an Administrative Officer II in 1994 and rose through the ranks to the position of a Deputy Registrar in 2011. Until her appointment as Registrar, she was the Deputy Registrar, Administrative and Technical Staff Matters.
