Convener Engage Diaspora Foundation, Oni Hails Ekiti First Lady’s Virtue, Compassion on Birthday

The Convener of a Non Governmental Organization, Engage Diaspora Foundation, Hajia Opeyemi Oni has congratulated Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, the First Lady of Ekiti State, on her birthday, describing her as a beacon of hope and a shining example of virtue and compassion.

Hajia Oni who recently launched, women in Governance (WiG) Club’ Initiative in Ekiti, to promote women’s empowerment and welfare, in partnership with the office of the first Lady and Maryam Babangida National Center for Women Development, praised Dr. Oyebanji’s tireless efforts in championing the cause of women and children in Ekiti State.

The Epe Ekiti born women’s advocate noted that her selfless service, kindness, and generosity have endeared her to the people of the state.

“Dr. Oyebanji’s commitment to the welfare of Ekiti residents is unparalleled,” the Hajia Oni said. “She is a true embodiment of a virtuous woman, and her legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.”

The founder of Engage Diaspora Foundation, highlighted Dr. Oyebanji’s various initiatives, including her work with the Widows, Aged and Orphans Hope Initiative (WAOH), which provides support and empowerment opportunities for vulnerable populations.

“Compassionate Mother and selfless leader whose initiatives have empowered countless women in Ekiti State, providing them with skills and opportunities for economic independence” She remarked.

She prayed for Dr. Oyebanji’s continued good health, longevity, and success, as she continues to serve as a role model for women and girls in Ekiti State and beyond.
