DUROJAYE HOLDS WALK IN IKOLE EKITI TO BOOST ONI’S ACCEPTABILITY

An aspirant to represent Ikole Constituency 1, Mr Wande Durojaye of the Social Democratic Party SDP has organized a mega rally within the area as a booster to the popularity of the Governorship Candidate of the Party in the June 18 Governorship election in Ekiti State Chief Segun Oni.

The rally which was a long walk through the town was aimed at sensitizing the people and having an interpersonal campaign with the electorate in order to ensure the victory for the SDP.

Canvassing for CSO, Mr Wande Durojaye observed that even though the the SDP Candidate had the highest acceptability and empathy of the people. He noted that there was the need to encourage the people not to shy away from their responsibility of voting a credible candidate for the fear that a particular party plans rigging or launch attacks.

According to him ” our people must know that nobody can deny them of their franchise. They love Segun Oni, They know what he has done and what he will do again. This is just to test run how ready and prepare Ikole people are for CSO and we are quite sure and satisfied here that,. ikole People have rejected the era of hopelessness and unending suffering. We are ready to vote enmass for leader with true passion “.

Some of the people lat the rally lamented poor representation in the scheme of things in the current administration of the state particularly in the area of electricity outage forany years now and insecurity ravaging the constituency.

They vowed that having witnessed the administrations of the two political parties; PDP and the APC in the state, they have resolved to support a new system and waves of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) whereby the welfares and well being of residents and development of the constituency could be attended to.

They described Mr Wande Durojaye whom as a philantropist who had been assisting the youth and women, education aid for students and a helping hand to artisans and small scale businesses in the area.

They reposed much confidence in Wande Durojaye, describing him as a true leader, accessible, loyal honest and always showing genuine concerns for the less privileged. Mr Wande Durojaye assured them that he would justify the confidence reposed in him.
