A house of Assembly aspirants to represent Ado Constituency, Mr Ayodeji Adarabierin has felicitated with Christians in Nigeria and the world as they mark this year’s Easter season, charging them to imbibe godly values of righteousness, peace and justice.
Mr Adarabierin in his Easter message made available to journalists in Ado Ekiti urged Nigerians to imbibe the teachings of Jesus Christ and emulate him by making sacrifices that will help engender Development in the country
The House of Assembly hopeful who said that Easter exemplifies the ultimate sacrifice made by Jesus Christ to save mankind, noted that Christians must take into consideration the welfare of others.
He admonished Christians and Nigerians to emulates the virtues of Jesus Christ as epitomized by his passion, persecution, death and resurrection during Easter.
On the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state Mr Adarabierin appealed to political gladiators in the state to shun any act that could throw the state in chaos before, during and after the June 18 poll
In his words ” The dark days of elections being manipulated by violence and rigging by corrupt politicians and their agents are over, so as a peaceful citizens we are majorly known for in Ekiti we should desist from any act of hooliganism that can mar the relative peace in our dear state”
He assured the people of the state that the Governoship candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC, Mr Biodun Oyebanji would make sacrifices for the state, if given the mandate and provide the citizens with the dividends of democracy.
The Ado Ekiti born politician popularly called ASIPA enjoined Ekiti people to work in love, unity and faith as a means of overcoming current challenges and sustaining the good legacies of the present administration
He said that Mr Oyebanji’s administration would evolve programmes and policies that would bring unprecedented Development to the people especially the down trodden the grassroots.
“if you vote for the APC candidate am well assured that than ever before, we are ready to consolidate on these gains and ensure that we improve the lot of our communities in the years ahead”. He added
He also expressed optimism that come June 18, the APC Governoship flagbearer would coast home to victory.
