A notable Politician in Ekiti state Senator Adedayo Adeyeye has called on Nigerians, especially residents of Ekiti state to embrace peace, love and unity as the world celebrates Easter.

The former Works Minister in his admonition to Christians on the Easter celebration urged adherents of the faith to avail themselves the core-values that Jesus Christ’s sacrifice symbolized.

According to the statement issued by his Media assistant Ayobami Arotolu, Nigerians should find a way to view the country’s challenges through the lenses of Christ’s death and ressurrection which brought the promise of a better life for all.

Adeyeye said he believed that with a renewed commitment by all Nigerians, the country would emerge from its current ashes and become a powerful nation.

He also used the occasion to admonish
Muslims who are mid-way through the Ramadan fast to use the period in sober reflection on the salient issues surrounding the nation.

The Senator said he believed that Ramadan coinciding with the Christian fast this year is a strong message to the country ahead of the 2023 general election and especially the governorship in Ekiti this year.

He wished all, a happy celebration.
