EID-EL-FITRI: EKITI SOUTH SENATORIAL ASPIRANT, OLAYINKA OGUNDAYOMI FELICITATES WITH MUSLIMS, SOLICITS SUPPORTS FOR CHIEF SEGUN ONI

An aspirant to represent Ekiti South Senatorial District in the National Assembly and former Commissioner Ministry of Women Affairs Hon. Mrs Olayinka Olubunmi Ogundayomi has felicitated with Muslims across the country particularly in Ekiti State for witnessing the 2022 Eid- El – Fitri celebration.

The Female Politician, women advocate and Philantropist charged Muslims to continue the good works and Lessons of Ramadan Fast saying urging them to uphold the virtues of true believers.

Ogundayomi emphasized the need for religious tolerance for harmonious relationship and peaceful coexistence. She condemned the rate of insecurity in the country which she said had given room and latitude to criminals. She called on government at all levels to be alive to their responsibilities saying that it was important to restore joy and happiness back on the faces of the citizens.

The Senate hopeful charged Muslims to use the period to pray for peace and progress of Ekiti state particularly for the June 18 Governorship election. She cautioned politicians across political parties against violence saying that nobody’s ambition worth shedding of blood.

Ogundayomi Charges Ekiti people to support the Ekiti Rescue Agenda of the SDP Governorship Candidate, Eng Segun Oni saying that it was high time to end the era of slavery in the state.

The Senate hopeful noted that the Social Democratic Party SDP would fulfil the individual and collective aspirations of EKiti people.
